What an antifouling job includes

    The travel hoist lifts the boat and it is set on stands.

  2. 2. Pressure washing

    The hull is cleaned and dried.

  3. 3. Sanding

    Fine sanding to prepare the hull.

  4. 4. Anode replacement

    Worn anodes replaced: shaft, propeller, hull.

  5. 5. Antifouling

    2 coats, depending on the antifouling used.

We strip the hull with water and fine abrasive at low pressure, without damaging the gelcoat. The only yard in Tunisia that offers it.

Where can I haul out and antifoul my boat in Tunisia?

At the YK Marine yard in the port of Tabarka: 160 t travel hoist, boats from 6 to 35 m, sailing yachts, motorboats and catamarans. In Bizerte, Gammarth, Sidi Bou Saïd and Hammamet we also work on site: engines, stainless steel, canvas and onboard power.

How much does a haul-out and antifouling cost in Tunisia?

The yard's price depends on the boat's length, the hull's condition and the antifouling: quick quote on WhatsApp. The port charges separately at APIP rates: hoisting (haul-out and relaunch) at 20 TND per gross ton (tx) plus a 50 TND fixed fee, and 1 TND per tx per day on the hard standing.

How often should I antifoul?

Once a year in the Mediterranean.

Which antifouling should I use?

Eroding for a sailing yacht that sails often, hard for a fast boat or one that stays in harbour. We can advise you.

Can I stay aboard while the boat is ashore?

Yes, day and night.

My yacht is foreign-flagged. Is that a problem?
